Yeah, I was really surprised at that when I got the tube, too...I didn't
even try to put them on, I probably would have lost a finger!  I wonder if
the company has been made aware of the danger of these things, or if maybe
there's a safe way to use them we just didn't figure out...:)  Besides,
what's the fun if they don't skid?  Also, don't forget to tape down the
little ends of the wire on each end of the tube - it's not fun to lose an
eye, either...:)
