Well, they are both mammals, and there are only about 4500 mammals total...
wonder how it would read to say the just-as-accurate (or inaccurate)
"prairie dogs are distantly related to tigers".  It is a bit strange to
liken a rodent (as a prairie dog is a type of ground squirrel) to a
carnivore, especially since no one does that with dogs or cats.
 
I think we need to find out who these people are and send them a short,
polite message.
