Howdy all!
First off, I know I said I was only going to lurk after being torched about
my first post. I lied, here I am, glutton for punishment I guess. Anyway,
I too, watched Part of Five.... how very sad. I loved that show..

Secondly, I have a problem, and was wondering if anyone out there could
help. I have webtv and the stupid thing won't let me read the entire FML
if it is a particularly large one. It says that "the page is too large to
be seen entirely" or something like that. So I emailed the tech support,
they said I had to have "my friends" email to me in smaller portions. Yah,
easy for them to say. Sooooo, is there anyone out there willing to split
up the longer FMls and email it to me in 2 halves? There was a posting a
few days ago about stove pellets, that I really wanted to read but couldn't
ever get to cuz it was at the end of a long list. I am having a hard time
finding the stove pellets here, I guess it could have something to do with
the lack of wood stoves in the Phoenix area! =) I pray for comfort for
those who have lost their beloved fuzzies...

PS Dervish is awesome...love the posts Meghan!! =) Keep me crackin up
all day!

[Moderator's note: Guess I better put this post close to the top of the
FML so people with webTV can see it!

I can't sent the FML out in many pieces on it's *initial* distribution, but
once the FML is archived, anyone can request a copy of any issue and at the
same time specify that it be sent in multiple pieces.

Let's say you wanted to request today's FML. You need to ask for it by
number -- each issue number appears in the Subject line as well as at the
beginning of each FML, right under the index. Today's issue is 2520.

Most email programs which express a displeasure with long posts do so after
showing you about 32000 characters. So, let's ask the server to send issue
2520, but to break it up into pieces of 30000 characters per each email:

Send mail to [log in to unmask]
The mail should consist of the single line in the body (not the
subject) of the email as follows:

SEND FERRET 2520 SPLIT=30

The SPLIT=30 means split it every 30000 characters.

The daily FMLs are usually archived very quickly - often within seconds,
but sometimes one will take a day or so. BIG]
