Hi FML-ers!

First of all, I *am* going to do ferrets for my Pacific Northwest project.
Hopefully that will turn out okay. I think it will! :)

Also, today at school we had a National Honour Society meeting. We were
putting together community service groups and my group is going to do beach
clean-up, and also helping animal shelters with anything the shelters need
help with. I was hoping to get us involved with any kind of shelter, but I
thought I'd ask here to see if any ferret shelters would be interested in
having three or four people come over and help out with anything you
shelter operators would like us to do?

I don't have any idea of when or even how often we are to do this as of
this point in time, but if anyone's interested, please feel free to write
me back on this. :) And also, by the way, I live in Federal Way, WA, so
we could help any shelters that wanted it in the Seattle/Federal Way/
Tacoma/Auburn/Bellevue/(and other close by places) area.

On another note, another great thing has happened with Martin -- he has
decided he does like Petromalt afterall! It's not so impossible anymore
to get him to eat some.

One more quick thing-- When I was at the vet's, I was shown how to put
the q-tip in to clean Martin's ears, and there were 2 things that didn't
seem quite right to me. She said not to go deep and to let the vet's do
that instead of me (?), and when I asked her if I needed any thing on
the q-tip she said no and that a dry one is fine. What do you all use?

Thanks a lot, and if any of this has been covered recently, I apologise,
but I am pretty far behind in FML reading lately. Even now, I need to
get going and get to my homework.

Okay, that's it! Thanks everyone! Hope you're all doing great!!
