Since the death of both my mother and of the assembly bill for legalizing
ferrets and other factors considered, I do not think that California is the
place to be anymore. I was born and raised here, but this state and its
insane politics are crushing my spirit. Thus I am seeking to move to
Texas, somewhere near Houston or even between Austin and Houston. Trouble
is, I need to find a place where I can keep animals and harder yet, I can't
afford to buy a house, so I must rent. Any leads on affordable rental
housing in that area would be appreciated. Hopefully a place with a large
back yard, possibly horse property or a kennel or small farm?
My hopes are for starting a rescue/shelter for small exotics.
