I saw a ferret today in the most unexpected place,the science fiction book
club magazine.Was looking over the offerings,as I usually do,and there
before me is the authors picture with a sable ferret peeking out from
behind her head.I may have to try this ladys book.Her name is Joanne
Bertin.The book club and I have an understanding,they don't send me books
automatically,and I don't send them back.I just order what I want.He or
she is a cute fuzzy.
 
One of my cats was tossing around my stuffed ferret like crazy.You don't
suppose he has some unresolved resentment toward the ferrets do you?  He
looked pretty gleeful as he was attacking the stuffed ferret,kicking
it,biting it and tossing it in the air.Of course he knows that doing that
to a real fuzzy is dangerous.The most they get away with is ferret
bopping,and occasionally squishing one under a rug or paper.Then they look
like ' Ooops,sorry,didn't see you under there.',yea,right.The ferrets
always goes for kitty toes.Works every time.Gotta love 'em.
