Howdy,
 
The Skunks and the Ferrets no longer share the same family tree because the
Ferrets kicked the Skunks out of the tree due rising friction between the
two.  The Skunks have had a long standing jealousy of the Ferrets because
the Ferrets were always more popular with people as pets.  The Ferrets
disliked the Skunks because the Skunks were rowdy, disruptive, and somewhat
untidy.  The Skunks never helped out with housework around the tree and
were constantly causing disruptions.  The Ferrets and the Skunks hardly
ever saw eye to eye on anything.  Ferrets liked Pepsi, Skunks liked Coke.
Most Ferrets were Republicans, while most Skunks were Democrats.  Ferrets
said "Tastes Great", Skunks said "Less Filling".  Ferrets walked, while
Skunks frequently parked in handicapped spots.  A Ferrets often feels like
a nut, a Skunk don't.  Ferrets liked it shaken, Skunks liked it stirred.
Ferrets fish with worms, Skunks use lures.  And so on, and so on.  Then
finally straw the Skunks went through the express lane at the grocery store
with more than 10 items.  This was the last straw.  The Ferrets could no
longer take the Skunks deplorable attitude, so they kicked the Skunks out
of their tree.  Which is somewhat unusual, since niether of them live in
trees.  Go figger.
