Well, well. It's been a while since I've e-mailed an update on Harley and
his terrible infection. Every 2 weeks Harls goes to the University of
Guelph teaching Hospital for tests and a nose flush. 4 weeks ago when
Harley went in for his routine flush, a substantial amount of pus flowed
through. This looked like a set back for our little "bug".

2 weeks ago, again on a routine flush Harley had no pus flowing! The
doctors changed his antibiotic and sent home a very happy person and a
crazy ferret.

While I was in CA visiting Linda, Lynn Foster took Harls to Guelph for me.
Excitedly I awaited a call from my mom with Harley's news. Again there was
no pus!

So, in 2 weeks, Harley will go for (hopefully) his final flush! Thanks
to everyone on the FML, the members of the FAST and everyone who sat by
holding their breath I think this little one will make it! I couldn't be
happier :o)

On another note, Saigon (our right adrenal boy) is going in for surgery on
Wednesday. Please keep him in your thoughts as it's a tricky surgery. We
have hired a soft tissue specialist (who is supposed to be the best in
Canada) to do the surgery. It's never been done here (a full right adrenal
removal) and we are all worried.
