Maybe my paper was the only one to run this, but the paper I subscribe to
runs an "Odds & Ends" column of information they get off the AP.  In
yesterday's (9/29) paper they had one from Dallas highlighting the Ferret
Olympics that had recently taken place there.  It was a nice little write
up and they talked to a couple of people there.  I thought it was pretty
neat.  There was positive exposure, and I don't think I have ever read
anything about any other kind of animal olympics.  I just thought it was a
neat human interest story.
