HI, everyone,

I appreciate all the responses I've gotten about that beautiful but ill
fated kit at Petland. The problem is that the store buys from a
distributor, not from Marshall's directly, and they tell me they must
return the kit or lose money. I've dealt with the owners before and I
believe they are good people, but they are business people first and
foremost. If he's not purchased by Friday morning, he'll be on his way
back, which rots.

Now, I've been on job interviews this morning and have not been back there,
so I don't know if he found a home. I will check this evening. If not, if
someone writes me and it's just a matter of logistics, I might buy him if I
were sure I'd get reimbursed. I can lay out $100 for a short time. I just
can't take care of him long term, as much as I'd love to.

Consensus seesm to be that if he goes back he'll be put to sleep, I do
*not* want that to happen over what *might* require long term medication,
but what also might be little more than a sniffle.

I may be sorry for posting this to a list with thousands of subscribers
(FML), but here is my phone number: (919) 851-4537. Let's work this out,
OK?

I'll post again this (Thursday) evening.

Thanks,
Caity
