Oooh, I really love those, Sandy!  They are so true that they're funny.
The first one ("you feel something cold and wet on your ankle and smile"),
well, that's just classic.
 
I'm never tempted to try humour until someone opens this can of worms.
Bear with me while I add:
 
You know you're a ferret owner when...
 
You buy baby, cat, and dog toys, baby food, cat food, and steak, and you
don't have a baby, cat or dog, and never taste the steak.
 
You research herbs, vitamins and minerals for your pet, and make sure they
take their supplements every day, but your own is sporadic and random.
