15 FERRETS NEED HOMES / SHELTER / FOSTER
Hello, folks!
I've been asked to post on behalf of a person here in Massachusetts who
is apparently not on the Internet, but has found herself in a very tough
situation. Here are the particulars:
15 Ferrets of a ferret Mom who suddenly had to move (from NY to RI) in
with relatives where ferrets will not be tolerated, AND is out of a job.
Ferrets are in temporary housing, but it is a garage with no air
conditioning, and time there is also running out.
Ferrets are being fed on Totally Ferret/Iams Kitten, and are up to date on
all their shots until December of this year, but Mom must give them *ALL*
up and is sad as she can be. Direct individual adoption from owner or
foster/shelter is welcome. The ferrets must be moved out of their present
accommodations as soon as possible.
All the ferrets are spay/neutered. There are about 4 of the 15 who will
need medical attention (one possible adrenal, one maybe a lymphoma, one
'broken tail' and one with small tumor on skin ).
Can you help?? Ferties need Mommies and Daddies fast!
Please call Christine Mon-Sat 1-4 PM at Briar Hill Farm in Rehoboth,
Massachusetts. Tel. 508.252.3023.
