Ferret Poem :)

I wrote this poem for my ferret, Jitterbug, and my family members that she
just LOVES to tease-I hope you enjoy it!

A ferret can be quite the pet,
To have around the house.
They'll climb about the furniture,
And then climb up your blouse.

You never know where they may be,
Because they move so quick,
One second they're upon your feet,
And gone within a click.

Ferrets love to crawl around,
Inside a leaky tub.
They'll eat the soap and then they'll hope,
You will not see them flub.

If you have wet toes (or dry ones too),
Make sure that you watch out.
A bite is very possible,
And it will make you shout.

Ferrets like their daily snacks,
Especially when they're sweet.
Be it Lucky Charms or hairy arms,
And even chicken meat.

They'll play their games with other pets,
Like "bop-it" hide and seek.
They'll wag their tail under the couch,
And do their little squeak.

But most of all they give you love,
No matter how they show it.
Whether bites or hugs or little tugs,
They always let us know it!
