I was surprised that the breeders didn't respond to this one.  Ferret
mating is NOT an enjoyable experience, that is unless their behavior has
changed in the last 8 years.
 
The male is quite aggressive with the female.  He grabs her by the back of
the neck and roughly shakes her.  If the female is not ready she will fight
back but when she is ready she will lay docile as he continues to maul her.
He bites her neck so hard he causes wounds and sometimes bruises.  He will
toss her around and her head will thud on the floor, walls, or anything
nearby.  Enjoyable?  Certainly not.  Instinct.  Yes.
