About 5 years ago I contacted one of the head vets at Rhone Merieux,
manufacturer of IMRAB-3, the rabies vaccine. He stated emphatically that
the rabies and distemper vaccines should be given a minimum of two weeks
apart. **From my recollection**, they were concerned that the total
vaccine load from the combined vaccinations might trigger a reaction. The
amounts given to a ferret are the same as given to a large dog.

Also, if there is a reaction, and the vaccines are given together, how
would you know which one they reacted to?
