Laurie, I think you were wondering about why the mink was inside and the
ferret outside.  I owned a beautiful little mink once named Silkie.  They
can't take heat at all.  Took her out on the deck on a spring day.  Went
inside to do something and she died.  I was so ignorant!  I thought the
fresh air was good!  Anyhow, I think they need the A/C on and really are
not 1/2 as able to take warm air....I don't think the zoo was favoring the
mink, but providing what it needed...coolness.
