Hi!
I haven't written in a while ( just lurking when I have the time!), but I
have two very sneezy 1.5 yr old boys on my hands right now and was
wondering if there was anything I could do to make them more comfortable
while they recover from their crud. My husband and I had some sort of
respiratory crud last week which we are just getting over - maybe they
picked it up from us? Anyway, their vet didn't think it too serious, just
an upper respiratory infection, probably viral, that should run its course
in about a week. He gave them amoxicillin to prevent any additional
(bacterial) infections. My question is: can we do anything else to help
them recover more quickly or at least make them feel a little better in the
meantime? They seem to be eating, drinking and pooping fine, just more
groggy and less mischievous than usual. Would a humidifier help any I
wonder? Definitely a splatter shield would be nice!!!! :^) Sick ferret
sneezes are even wetter than well ferret sneezes!
Thanks for your time!
Laura
and Clint (I 'achoo' achoo' achoo' don't feel so good - maybe cookies in
bed would make me better?)
and Arnold ( Arrggghhhh!!!!! No more taking temperatures!!!!!)
