Greetings and dooks to you all,
I'm somewhat new to this list (OK, so I've been lurking for some time) and
thought I should say "Hi, my name is Judi"....so...
Hi, my name is Judi and although I currently have only cats claiming
ownership of me, I hope to be in a position soon to be free to adopt a
ferret or two (or three or four...what's that about 'ferret math'?). So,
until then, I'm trying to learn everything I can about the needs of ferrets.
To that end, I have a few questions......
1. How do you know, when a vet is claiming to be a 'ferret vet', that they
are any good with ferrets?
2. What kinds of questions can be asked, or is there some kind of screening
process that I could use as an informal means of doing my own personal
screening for a vet for my future fuzzies?
3. Can someone give me a general idea of how ferret shelters run? How do
they get the ferrets that they have?
Curious, cautious, and currently ferretless,

"I've been having computer problems of late. These aren't
your ordinary glitches either. Last night, I woke up with
it sitting on my chest grinning. Not even Pentiums are that
good . . . or sinister."
