I am a lurker from way back but I have a question. Here goes. Why don't
posters give their general location? I live in the Detroit Michigan area
and if I lost a ferret or found one or I had an extra cage or I was looking
for a good shelter, I THINK I would give my general location. I, among a
lot of others, don't even read, in their entirety, the posts of this nature
that don't give a location. It is a waste of time, in my estimation. You
don't have to give your street address but the nearest big town and state
will do.

OK, time to put the soap box away for another time

[Moderator's note: If I catch it in time, I write the posters who have lost
or found a ferret to ask for their location (if they didn't supply one, of
course). I don't always get a reply in time, but since I consider a missing
ferret to be a rather high-priority post, I let it through anyhow. BIG]
