Hello,
I went to the pound today because I had heard that there was a ferret
there, and there is. I am not sure what sex it is, and they didn't want
to help to find out. But judging from the size, it is a DEW male, or the
largest female I have ever seen. He/she might be hearing impaired, just
from it not responding to my voice, but then it could be that it just
didn't want to. When it did notice me, the little baby came to the door of
the cage and gave me the most pitiful look. I think it is older, but then
that too is hard to tell if you can't get it out of the cage. I also
noticed a growth behind the left ear, about the size of a garbonza bean,
for lack of anything else to compare it to. It was not oozing, but had
scabbed over. I am really hoping this baby has a family who misses him/her
and wants him/her back. The ferret seemed to be friendly, again as much as
I could tell from my vantage point. I "blue dotted" it, which means that
on the 19th of this month, I get first chance at him/her. I can't keep
this ferret, I have five at home right now. But I would be willing to help
someone who could give it a good home. Please e-mail me directly. I
really do not want this ferret to be put down, and I need help to prevent
this.

Thanks, I know you guys won't let me or the ferret down.
