First things first:

Here, Here to Julie for writing about the baby-talk issue. It's one thing
when it's a small note, but quite another when it's a really long entry
about something serious. And also to Todd & The Fuzzbutt Rodeo Clowns
about the bickereing. I agree that discussions are a good thing, but
sometimes people don't know when to say when.

OK, that said, sorry about not mentioning about the bad effects of
pennyroyal on the flea posting. I thought I had. Imeant to. It's true
that pennyroyal should never be taken by anyone or anything who is pregnant
or would like to be pregnant. It's a uterine tonic and can stimulate a
miscarriage, and if ever taken internally, much caution should be used.

As far as the garlic, I've been giving that to the dogs and Twinkle Toes
for quite sometime, and there's never been any problems. Maybe I've just
been lucky. It works, and they get relief from it. Besides, there are all
sorts of protein supplements (for cats, dogs, and ferrets) that contain
garlic because of its invigorating effect on the digestive tract due to the
enzymes, and its immune system supportive qualities, so why is fresh garlic
any worse? Is it because the dangerous allocin(? is that what it is
called?) has been evaporated right out of there?
