Yes, Bill and Diane, she is 1/4 English - and Crazy Rita (did she start
out as 'Sane Rita'?) is her grandmother.  Helga isn't my only ferret of
imported blood, so I am getting used to the differences between my American
ferrets (at least mine tend to be mellower) and my ferrets of imported
blood, which tend to be high energy.
 
Helga is the only ferret that I have that *plots* to chomp you though.  She
has not demonstrated any of the superior problem skills that make me think
she is a really smart ferret, just one that likes to sink her teeth into
flesh when you can't do anything about it.
 
I'm accepting any ideas presently!
