Bob and Bill,
 
I'm very sorry to hear about Simon and Sophie.  I'm glad Simon was able to
go to the bridge in your arms, Bob.  I'm sure that was comforting for him.
I know how hard it is to make that terrible decision, Bill.  It certainly
sounds like Sophie had the best possible life in the time that you had her
and you gave her the greatest gift at the end - the most dignified and
painfree trip across the bridge possible.  I've just gone through the same
thing with one of our cats so I know what you and your families (ferrets
included) are going through.
