My DEW six year old ferret, Sylvia, had some dried blood around her vulva.
The vulva itself is not swollen or sore looking. There isn't a lot of
blood and she is acting fine but there must be some reason for it. I will
take her to the vet asap, but although my vet is a kind and knowledgeable
dr. in many areas, I would feel more comfortable if I had some possiblities
to present to him. There is also a small (match head size) sore about an
inch and a half from it. Could be a swollen nipple, or a scratch, or maybe
a tumor of some kind. It's scabbed over. I'm in a total state of panic
right now as I just lost her buddy, Lillian, last month. Please anyone who
might have some ideas feel free to answer on the FML or private email

Laurel
