Announcing the Oregon Ferret Association's
Twelfth Annual Ferret Fun Match
Saturday, September 12, 1998
9:00 to 3:00
Clackamette Park, Oregon City, Oregon
The OFA s Ferret Fun Match is the premier ferret event of the Pacific
Northwest, where ferret owners meet with veterinarians and vendors for
ferret games, informative talks, health checks, fund raising promotions and
lots of fun!
This year's featured guest is Bob Church! +
Held in a park setting each year, the Ferret Fun Match attracts over a
hundred ferret enthusiasts and their pets from around the region. Ferret
games such as the great tube race, the cup tip-over, the bag escape and a
costume contest add excitement to the day's activities, while veterinarians
perform health checks and give talks on ferret health.
A fast paced auction of donated merchandise raises funds for educational
programs, shelters, conferences or other ferret related endeavors.
Vendors from around the country are on hand to sell ferret products ranging
from calendars and mugs to clothing (for both ferrets and their human
counterparts), and other nonprofit ferret organizations are on hand to keep
us up to date on ferret happenings around the country and enjoy the
festivities of this first-rate gathering.
Few occasions provide the unique blend of a carnival atmosphere with
educational content, health awareness, and unfettered ferret fun as the
OFA s Ferret Fun Match.
Admission for participants in the Fun Match is $4 per individual, or $10
per family, which allows you to take part in the auction and your ferrets
to participate in all games and events. Non-participant admission is free!
For details please call the Oregon Ferret Association at (503) 306-2968.
+ Gary Holowicki has also been invited and will attend if at all
possible, but personal ferret health issues may keep him at home.
