Hi Ya'll,
First of all, I wanted to tell those who have contacted me about the cd-rom
project, that you should be getting some more info in the next couple days.
I have not been concentrating very well the last couple of days and am
feeling bad again. But don't give up on me, I am slow but steady.
I do have a good scanner and can scan in any photos and such. I also have
an artpad so I can work digitally also. Even if I can't do something
myself, have lots of friends who know how to do this kind of project, never
fear.
This project will probably be underwritten by Wyrd Sisters. My doesn't
that sound high and mighty. Wyrd Sisters is my new company that will be
manufacturing and distributing animal themed items of all kinds. A portion
of my profits will definately be going to my own ferret education projects
and fundraisers, as well as other established ferret orgs. It is very
important to me personally.
Wyrd Sisters because it is a core group of wonderful broads who love
ferrets. I have been very fortunate to meet some great women friends in the
last 3 years, all from the ferret world and fml. I never had so many women
friends in my life, and it is a marvelous thing to behold.
Yes the name is from the Terry Pratchett novel. hehe.
The Mob website is looking pretty good, 'cept for the *wonderful* (read
heavy, heavy sarcasm here) free BETA version of chat software I was trying
to use. The Wyrd Weasel Inn is still under construction. I haven't found
anyone who can log onto it, and att's help forum just says we are aware of
the problems. LOL!!
Yes, I am still planning on getting up some free to distribute info for
clubs and shelters. I have been checking into virtual servers and such for
ftp downloading to make it a little easier. But something somewhere will be
up soon.
OK, on the home front, I found me some wonderful cd's that will REALLY date
me. Hot Rocks by the Stones and Foghats first album. so I am not sure the
neighbors are happy at the moment. Stones and Foghat are not good unless
VERY VERY LOUD. I had both as new albums back (cough cough mumble mumble)
years ago.
Well, off to clean the house. The ferrets have been having way to much fun
lately. I keep tripping over underwear and boxes everywhere. Although I
think I have finally foiled Treska with a new clothes hamper. hehe.
