I got a fax from Barbara Ludt (our NE Branch shelter operator) this morning
expressing her concern over the evacuations from Flagler and Volusia
counties.
 
Barbara is willing to help any ferret families in any way she can if they're
heading her way.  Barbara is in Green Cove Springs, FL which is near
Jacksonville.  She probably can't take in too many ferrets herself, but she
does have a few extra cages.  Besides, she doesn't want to take in too many
in case SHE has to evacuate again!  She will be checking in with her network
of foster moms and dads to see who may be able to help.
 
Barbara has asked that anyone that needs help, please call her at
