One of my new babies, Opal, has decided that she wants to be a supermodel.
The other day, I was in checking on them and noticed she was really close
to the bars of the cage, so I decided to pet the top of her head.  She
opened her eyes and started stretching, so I talked to her, calling her
"mama's sleepy girl" and telling her how her stretches were so big.  She
repays me by posing in every type of stretch she can come up with.  As long
as I was petting her and talking, she posed, changing position every few
seconds.  I wish I had a camcorder.  This went on for at least 3-4 minutes.
It was probably the cutest thing I have ever seen.
 
Detmer update: Detmer's diarrhea seems to have gone away, and he's had
several very normal poos lately.  Thank you to all that have written with
suggestions.  I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to thanking you personally
yet-there's a lot to do til my due date in 3 weeks.
