Hi,

You'll most likely see me asking the same confused question on the FAIML
list, but what the hey. 8)

I went to the homepage of Timmy's Tonic and began to read about it, but
gave up when I read one of the tonic's is clover honey based. I wanted to
get it to use with my babies, but one of them has Insulinoma. But then, I
got my copy of today's FAIML and read there that someone with such ferret
IS using it. So I posted there. Then I got this issue, and saw it again.
*groan* Sorry. 8)

But anyhow, how can you use it on a Insulinoma ferret without a reaction if
it does have the honey in it? And without regular glucose testing, how DO
you know it isn't causing an adverse reaction?

Second question:

In one recipe for Duck Soup, it called for brewers yeast. I don't use
Totally Ferret, I use Iams which already has yeast in it. Do I need to add
more? What exactly does the yeast do, and what have studies said about how
much is too much or just right?

Thanks a lot, sorry about the multiples.

Julie
