Just to make things a little more confusing, this is the Mass UFO.  For
anyone lucky enough to live near Assonet, Mass (off Rt 24, near RI) David
Jonas of Assonet Animal Hospital is a wonderful ferret vet.
 
To the person with the roommate who thought giving a dish of beer to the
ferret was funny--I'd follow your gut feelings.  If you've talked to him
about it and you still don't trust him, I'd say, out he goes (the roommate,
not the ferret).
