Hi all!
I am concerned about Meep, our male year old ferret. He has always been on
the small side for a male anyway - top weight of 1.9 lbs(= to about 1 lb
15oz??) last spring. He dropped down to what is now 1 lb. 12 oz over the
summer which I attributed to normal summer weight loss. He is energetic
and playful and very sweet. He does sleep a little more than when a kit
but I don't think excessively so. When should he put back on the weight
for winter? I know some ferrets are thinner or chubbier by nature (our
female Daisy on the same diet is a chubba! and weighs 1lb 9oz) but wanted
to see what some other opinions were.
