Hello everyone! Hope the fuzzies and their people are doing fine.

Due to school and extremely long work days (16 hrs) I have not been able to
read the fml's, so I don't know what's been going on. I do know BHOR was
in an accident with two of his kiddies. I am glad they're all well. And I
am glad the chickie pox is cured. <g>

The question I have is in regards to shelters or ferret organizations
located in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. My friend, who moved there seven
months ago, has a roommate who has a ferret named Mya. She would love to
adopt another fuzzy (a kit as her ferret doesn't take too well to the older
ferrets), but doesn't have a whole lot of cash. She would also like to
meet other people who have ferrets. When she found out I had seven, she
took the phone away from my friend and talked for over a hour about
ferrets. Now, that's a ferret addict. (My friend says when they bury her
roommate, they'll have to bury her body in one box and her tongue in
another box)

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Please send all responses
directly to me as I haven't been able to read the posts lately.

On another front, as I mentioned, I have seven kids. The bottom floor of
their three level cage is the toilet area. Initially, I had only two boxes
(and at the time, only five ferrets) which sat side by side (to prevent
remodeling). Then I bought a third box. A large cat box. My boys thought
it was a bed and began sleeping in it. So, I bought two more large litter
boxes, but I placed them on the second and top floors with blankies. At
first, they got the idea I had added a couple of new beds, but soon after
the boys went back to the bottom level to lay in the toilet (I use Feline
Pine litter). Is this a Y chromosom (sp?) thing? Should I buy them some
magazines?

Have a good one
