Could somebody please clarify what this "death of AB 409" means to
California ferret owners?
 
I thought AB 363 was a bill that, if passed (in layman's terms), would be
good for the ferrets and their owners residing in California.  And that AB
409 was a bad thing for ferret owners, as well as other pet owners.  Am I
on track so far?
 
What ever happened to AB 363?  I thought it was essentially thrown into a
pile of bills to be dealt with someday, thanks to the DFG's statement that
it would cost in excess of $30k to enforce.  So is AB 363 gone forever?
Will the same thing happen to AB 409?
 
So what happens now?
