We experienced our first surgery today.

Shadow had a cyst on the tip of her tail. I forget what the term is called,
but it looked like a clove of garlic.

Well last night she got it caught on something while we were out and we came
home to a trail of blood around the apartment.

When we found her, after closer inspection, I found that the cyst had "torn"
from the tail about 1/4 of the way, kind of like a toothpaste cap, but not
quite as much away from the tail.

So our regular vet couldn't do the surgery until July 17th! She needed
surgery immediately! So we went to anotehr vet and he did the surgery
this morning. just called in and they said she's doing fine. :)

I'll be picking her up on my way home from work.
