5 A direct result of ferret math.  That's BUSINESS as in a bunch of ferrets
folks.
 
Some of you already know me, but I'd like to take this opportunity to
introduce myself to those of you I haven't met.  I'm Juliana Quadrozzi &
I've been doing ferret foster care & adoption ever since I was inspired by
a very dedicated foster mom in AZ - Suzanne Resinger, president of the
Central AZ Ferret Club - more than 10 yrs ago.  When I relocated to GA in
'90, I dedicated my efforts to the GA Domestic Ferret Association & held
the office of VP for several years.
 
FERRET BUSINESS is a new organization in GA dedicated to ferret welfare,
foster care, adoption services, & information dissemination.  But our
mission & efforts remain the same...let's just say, BUSINESS as usual (pun
intended) ;).  The paperwork is being prepared to establish a nonprofit
corporation in GA & in time file for federal 501(c)(3) status.  The FERRET
BUSINESS web page is currently under construction & plans to provide a
quarterly newsletter, aptly named BUSINESS NEWS (...what else?) are in the
works - target date is FEB '99.
 
We hope you will consider FERRET BUSINESS a link in our chain of dedicated
foster care providers.  Cooperation can make a difference.  With ferret
welfare as our common goal, we invite an open exchange of information &
ideas from our fellow ferret enthusiasts & care givers.
 
In addition to the services I've already mentioned, ferret merchandise is
available for sale to help support the medical expenses of the foster
ferrets.  See the upcoming FML Advertising Issue for our list of available
merchandise.  So get your holiday shopping done early & avoid the rush!
 
FERRET BUSINESS has ferrets available for adoption into permanent, loving
homes.  A human/ferret compatibility profile is conducted, a full ferret
personality profile is provided, & ferrets are fully vaccinated (unless
otherwise specified). =20
 
If you're looking for a ferret companion, please consider adopting a foster
ferret & give us a call.
 
FERRET BUSINESS is also here to answer your questions & help remedy your
problems.  Become a charter member & get your BUSINESS NEWS quarterly
newsletter for the 1st year's introductory price of a mere $20.  Become a
charter member before 1/1/99 & your annual membership fee will be locked in
at $20 for as long as you are a contiguous member.
 
All monies collected go directly to help support the medical expenses of
the foster ferrets.  With the exception of medical expenses, all care &
maintenance is done out-of-pocket.  Currently there are 16 fosters in
house - at least 7 of which have medical problems.
