Sounds like a punishment, like a jail term ;o)
 
This particular term though, is six weeks (42 days)
 
You may try to find out why your jill has had so many pseudo pregnancies
though.  There could be something wrong with the male, or else something
wrong with your jill... If the jill has a problem, then it would be best
for her to be speyed.  If it's the male, then he should either be castrated
or vasectomised.
 
Ferrets are known for their false (pseudo) pregnancies, but having several
points to there being a problem, which has a high likelyhood of being
genetic.
 
I would suggest you contact a local breeder if such is available for help
in the future, should you wish to continue breeding.
 
Many people are against people who have no knowledge of breeding doing so.
However, it is my personal opinion that *every* breeder (including Marshall
Farms, Path Valley etc) originally had no clue as to what they were doing.
If you talk with and visit other breeders and get hints from them, it will
help you to evade some of the problems that can naturally occur.  Most
problems are easily averted, or else can be quickly seen and treated.
