I have a friend who lives near Ocala, Fla.  and sent her Dr. Dion's name
after seeing him recommended on the FML.  She now uses a vet, only a couple
of blocks from Dr. Dion, named Dr. Suzanne Billiar.  She is a zoological
vet and does all the work for Silver Springs attraction...and is an exotics
only vet.  Her (the vets) pets include wallabies, rare and endangered
primates, all sorts of reptiles, a small dog, and a ferret or two.
 
My friend has a number of exotic and endangered reptiles (with permits).
She has been quite happy with Dr. Billiar and is curious if anyone else
knows of her and recommends her.  Posts to me directly are welcome.  I'll
pass on the info.
 
Her ferret vet is in Leesburg but doesn't know a whole lot about ferrets.
She said she'll try Dr. Dion.  To whoever posted his name...thanks.
