While talking with another ferret owner earlier this evening, we both
realized that at various times each of us has noticed that one of our
ferrets has appeared not to notice a treat placed in front of him. The
questions arose: is it possible that a ferret could lose/has lost its sense
of smell? If so, what is this caused by? Is this condition temporary or
permanent? Thanks for any information that you may have.
