I appreciate that Brita acknowledged that she would get some feedback on
her method of dealing with Claudia. No I don't agree or approve of her
method, but I'm sure at the time she used what she thought was the best
method she knew.
I have one young female that was a rescue who spent the first 6+ months of
her life in a 10 gallon aquarium. Rose is a doll, but she had a biting
problem too. I agree that scruffing them only makes them mad! I tried
that with Rose and as soon as I released her, she would *really* bite me.
I have used the Bitter Apple Cream for a couple of my fuzzies that came
home through a rescue with a nip habit. I've heard from a few people that
some ferrets don't care, but it's worth a try. The cream seems to be
pretty nasty stuff, the spray appeared to dry or evaporate pretty quick.
At least give it a try, might be a simple solution!
Good luck,
Jennifer and Gang
