From the ladies of SOS (Judith White, Georgia Wood and Ela Heyn):
It has recently come to our attention that Bill Killian has posted a
message to a Usenet newsgroup (and possibly other places) in reference to
Lisa Leidig (a shelter operator in Virginia) that read in part:
>Alicia Drakiotes tried to get Lisa kicked off of the FML SOS list - they
>declined.
We just wanted to publicly let everyone know that this is ABSOLUTELY not
true. *EVERY* shelter is welcome to join the SOS list, *no shelter* has
ever been denied "membership" on the list or kicked off the list .. and
*nobody* has ever suggested that any shelter be removed from the list.
This is a completely untrue statement, and we regret that Bill did *not*
check with us before posting it, as we would have been happy to assure him
that it had no basis in fact.
