Well, the results on the biopsies are coming in with good news. All of the
tumors removed so far were benign.

Even better news. Thanks to the donations received from you, the Cocheco
Valley Humane Society was able to operate on Precious to remove what was
described as a "nasty" left adrenal. Precious is totally bald, but with
the tumor removed she should re-grow some hair in a few months.

Sebastian had a huge tumor removed from the side of his face that was
interfering with his vision and his ability to eat. It's gone and hair is
already starting to come in. He's bouncing and ferret dancing again.

We still have 5 adrenal tumors to remove, and the Cocheco Valley Humane
Society still needs funds to pay for them. They've been wonderful with what
they've already done for these 21 ferrets. So far all have survived and
their health is improving daily. A few are still adjusting. A couple have
upset stomachs, probably from the rich food they are getting. One is being
looked at for a possible hairball. All in all, they are doing great.

If you would like to donate to the rescue fund, all can be sent directly to:

Cocheco Valley Humane Society
262 Valley Farm Road
Dover, NH 03820

Thanks everyone for your support.
