Hi,

This post is to thank the person who is/was doing the survey on lost
ferrets. I don't remember who it was, but because of the information
posted in that article, at least one fuzzy is home again.

My friend called me this afternoon to tell me she found a ferret on the
neighbor's porch. No one in the neighborhood knew that anyone had any
ferrets and had no idea where he belonged. I was all set to take him until
his owner could be found, but I told her about that study and that most
ferrets will be found within 3 houses of their home. That gave my friend
an idea of who to approach to check for ownership. She did find the owner.
The ferret came from the home behind the house where he was found.

Thanks again!!

Kim
