Simon's necropsy was performed today, and it appears as if he died from a
cancer which had spread throughout his body and resulted in severe
congestive heart failure.  His liver, stomach and intestines were also
involved, but not to the degree as his lungs.  Several lymph nodes were
enlarged as well.  None of the masses showed on the x-rays.
 
I wish to thank so many of you who thought enough of Simon to write.  It is
very nice, although the number is a bit overwelming.  But thank you, it is
greatly appreciated.
