I've was actually successful in getting my Guinness to willingly take
flagyl.  I mixed the flagyl suspension with about one-third of a jar of
chicken baby food and a little Ferretone.  After I made it clear that he was
going to eat it, he just plowed his way through it, stopping occasionally
to gag a little.  After the first day, he gave no argument.
