For all ferret owners and enthusiasts who live in the Salt Lake County or
even in the whole state of Utah, BEWARE.
 
If your Ferret is accussed, not proven or convicted, just accussed of biting
another living creature.  You are subject to fine and your cute adorable
fuzzy is sentence to immediate death.... No questions asked.
 
The City of Draper, Utah takes pride in its execution of Ferrets.  They
confiscate and euthanize our little fuzz balls before you can even contact
an attorney to get a court order.  Does not matter even if the Ferret has
no teeth, all rabies vaccinations, three witnesses that say the Ferret never
bit anyone, and a signed letter from Bill Clinton excusing the critter.
They will kill it as soon as they can.
 
Rabid dogs are not killed as quickly as a Ferret accussed of biting someone.
 
So Utah Ferret Lovers, if you get a chance.  Write a letter to the Office of
Govenor Mike Leavitt, County Commissioner Mary Callaghan, and the Mayor of
Draper, Sandy City, Salt Lake City, Murray, and any other city in Utah that
endorses the senseless killing of domestic animals.
