Hey, it is required in Kentucky to have a license from the Fish and Wildlife
Dept.  But this is until July 15, 1998.  After that date domestic ferret
owners will no longer be required to license their animals through that
dept.  So, as you can see, we were in the same boat for a long time.
Things are a changin' for ferrets here.
 
As far as Las Vegas, if you walked through some of the neighborhoods that
surround Vegas, you would see every exotic animal known to man there.  That
town is a legalistic oxymoron (but never dull).
