Greetings

I will be leaving HP and will lose my access to Internet. Please
remove my name from the distribution list. I certainly enjoyed
reading the comments and suggestions.

I do have an experience to pass on! While traveling to NC, we
happened to stop in Winston-Salem NC and saw some baby ferrets in a pet
store. I have slowly been converting my wife from two cats to a cat and
a ferret. So.. we asked the owner to see the little ones. " Which one
would you like" she asked wy wife. "Oh, the little dark one". Well, the
ferret bit the owner who handed her to my wife who handed it to me.
"Look, it's trying to nurse" they commented as the ferret is trying to
reduce my thumb to shreds! It wouldn't let go and was really tearing up
my hand. After thumping it on the nose ( as I had learned from the
newsletter), it finally let go. As the owner was trying to place it back
in the cage, she dropped it and was bitten again when she picked it up! She
then threw it into the cage and hurt it again! Not a very good start to
my ferret stories!!!

Does anyone know a breeder that I could contact in the Raleigh-Durham
area in North Carolina? I'm still interested and I may be able to
convince my wife with one more try.

Regards,
  Les
