In my opinion I would adopt a ferret from the shelter which is at least a
year old. We have bought two kits in the past. We have adopted five
ferrets from the shelters. Our kits both have been very tempermental.
They have gotten so attached and they have been very jealous. So as far as
I am concerned I think shelter ferrets are the greatest. I think the
shelter parents should very careful on their applications when letting a
fuzzy out of their care. I have adopted from three different places and
found them all to be very good about getting to know us before just giving
us the ferrets. They could tell how we handle them weather we know any
thing about ferrets or not. Just wanted to had my two cents. Penny
