We made it through the night.  Bubba's blood work came back with his white
blood cells and liver enzymes off the charts.  Additionally, he is still
dehydrated.  Gave him fluids every hour on the hour all last night.
Stupidly fell asleep for almost an hour once, so he was late for one dose.
 
Vet gave us fluids to give sub-q and two antibiotics, one injectable and
one nasty tasting oral to be given twice a day.  There has been no change
through the day.
 
I hope we are doing the right thing trying so hard.  We have never had one
of our fur kids be so very sick.
 
All we can do now is medicate and just take turns holding him.
