Thanks for the great hint!  Snoop and Rusty have ruined 3 box springs
before I got this super hint!  I used to just tear that white material
off the bottom so they couldn't roam around in there anymore.  I don't
really mind it when they are in there, but I do mind it when they take
their food and my socks, mousepads, coozies, insoles, etc. in there!
 
I have a helpful hint too!  I was losing socks, etc. like crazy until
I found the ulitimate-ferret-stolen-goods-retrieval-device.  It is
this long springy thing with a thing you push on the end and a claw
on the other end (can you visualize this?).  You push the thing on the
end to open the claw and then release it to close the claw.  It reaches
into boxsprings, behind refrigerators, underneath those little spaces ferrets
crawl into under the bathroom sink, under furniture, behind the
washer/dryer...(need I go on?).  I got it a gun show and don't know
where else you can get one.  I haven't seen any since then.  But I know
I could make millions marketing it as a "ferret-...-device".  If
you run accross one of these things, BUY IT!
